When kids today want to make sure their friends keep a promise they make them “pinky swear” to the promise by locking their little pinky fingers together and making the promise. Sometime ago I found a list of some of the promises God makes to us in the bible. I am convinced they are “pinky swear” promises never to be broken. Here is just a partial list of the Promises of God.
ASSURANCE
“So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Matt 6:34
“Casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
POWER
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.” John 14:12
REWARDS
“Give and it will be given to you. They will pour into your lap a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” Luke 6:38
WISDOM
“for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute.” Luke 21:15
“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.” James 1:5
HEALING
“and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick ,and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.” James 5:15
LOVE

IRREVOCABLE GIFTS
“for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.” Romans 11:29

FREEDOM
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17
GUIDANCE

VALUED

FAITHFUL

PEACE

FORGIVENESS

RELIABLE
